Didier Milet

For twenty odd years photography has accompanied me in my personal evolution; changing along with me, in abandoning the superfluous and seeking out the essential.

This path, like a quest for the invisible, sometimes a passion, or an imperative, goes beyond any idea of academic rendering.

As would a scientist, I seek to find the appropriate ‘distance’ from my subject.

I seek to capture essence and magnificence, witnessing whatever reveals itself to the poesy of my open eye as it gazes through the lens.

 Didier Milet lives in the North Finistère, allowing himself the creative liberty to choose different subject matter for his photographs according to his changing inspiration.
