Thanks to D.M.P.*, the photographic technique he has created in 1992, Jean Claude Sévellec combines genuine elements in the very time of the shot. Like the painters, he thus gets imaginary landscapes. The preparatory work is long, complicated and meticulous. You have to make one image with two or even three different elements. The place and the importance of each element in the final image must also be defined. The addition of zooming or streak will galvanise the composition. Thus come out ambiances, particular impressions, odd atmospheres that everyone may appropriate to feed his imaginary world.
