“What interests me when I am painting is the convergence of matter and energy, this particular alchemy which creates a complicity between self-transformation and the act of painting. I look for light, transparency, space, colour, infinity … the man meeting the universe.

Colette Segalen lives and works by the Gulf of Morbihan, in Brittany, whose numerous influences feed her creation.Her painting, like her life, is made of meetings, sharings, questioning, renewals, researchs.”

Since 1985, she has exhibited and she has managed courses and workshops.
